COVID-19 TIPS

With Covid-19 outbreak, we are urged to stay home, practice social distancing and personal hygiene. All of us have a lot of adjustments in our lifestyle and we know it is not easy. Here are some tips from us in helping you to cope with stress during Covid-19. We hope everyone stays safe and stays healthy.

We recommend you continue to adhere to good hygiene practices.

  • Wash your hands often using soap and water, and dry them thoroughly.
  • Where available, use sanitizer outside your home, especially as you enter a building and after you have had contact with surfaces.
  • Avoid touching your face especially nose and eyes.

When at work, follow the advice given to you by your employer

Employers have a duty to assess and manage risks to your safety in the workplace. The government has issued guidance for employers and businesses on coronavirus.

This includes guidance on hygiene, as evidence suggests that the virus can exist for up to 72 hours on surfaces. Therefore, frequent cleaning is particularly important for communal surfaces like:

  • door handles
  • lift buttons
  • communal areas like bathrooms
  • kitchens
  • tea points

Practice social distancing

Keeping your distance is still the best way now to reduce Covid-19 infection, by minimizing the amount of close contact we have with others, we reduce our chances of catching the virus and spreading it to our loved ones and within our community. Always follow the guidance of your health care providers and local government.

Wear a mask!!!

N95 masks were highly effective at blocking transmission of the virus. Even common medical face masks have been found to interrupt airborne particles and viruses, keeping them from reaching as far when someone sneezes or coughs. Although you could say it can’t protect us completely, but its better than no protection at all.

The war with Covid-19 is far from over, we still have to be on high alert, this is also a good time to invest in self-improvement by pushing yourself further to learn new skills or brushing up your skills, change your lifestyle now for the sake of yourself and your loved ones.
